Looking for accommodation in Prague for a family with children? Do you want to spend less time searching? I have browsed the current offer of accommodation in hotels in Prague and its surroundings and prepared a selection of the most interesting offers.
I focused on accommodation with breakfast, where families with children are welcome. I preferred low-priced accommodation within the centre of Prague or offers that include a swimming pool or children’s playroom. I didn’t forget to check the easy accessibility to the centre of Prague.

PANORAMA HOTEL PRAGUE ► ► ► 200 metres from the metro station, approx. 10 minutes to the centre
The 4-star Panorama Hotel Prague offers family rooms, which have a separate bedroom with a double bed and a room with a sofa bed for children (each with its own TV and bathroom).
The indoor rooftop pool with panoramic views of Prague will delight adults and children alike. There is also a playroom for children. You can use the hotel’s car park for a fee.

RESIDENCE BENE ► ► ► ►100 metres from Old Town Square
If you are looking for an affordable room in the centre of Prague, consider the three-star Residence Bene. Families with children give it high marks in the quality/price ratio.
It doesn’t offer a pool or a children’s playroom, but it does offer affordable rooms including breakfast. Each room also has a microwave, fridge and kettle. There is an elegant dining room on the ground floor where a breakfast buffet is served.
OREA HOTEL PYRAMIDA PRAHA ► ► ► 10 minutes’ walk from Prague Castle
Hotel Pyramida is located within walking distance of Prague Castle, Loreto, Strahov Monastery and Mala Strana. You can make your stay more enjoyable for your children by visiting the swimming pool, as well as the nature – Petrin Hill, Ladronka or the playgrounds around the hotel. The hotel has its own trail with tasks for children.
The Malovanka tram stop is just 100 metres away. The city centre is 15 minutes away by public transport.
WELLNESS HOTEL STEP ► ► ► 10 minutes walk from Palmovka metro station
The four-star Wellness Hotel Step is a hotel complex with extensive sports and wellness facilities.
The wellness centre includes an indoor pool and various saunas. The sports centre offers tennis, squash and badminton courts, bowling and an indoor golf centre. Most rooms include free access to the water or sauna world. Guests of the hotel also enjoy a 50% discount on tennis, badminton and squash.
HOTEL CLEMENT ► ► ► ► 5 minutes’ walk from the Vltava River and the children’s playground
Hotel Clement is located in the historic centre of Prague, just a few steps from the Vltava River and the Palladium Shopping Centre.
It has easy access to public transport, is close to the Main Railway Station and within walking distance of the historic centre and a children’s playground. There are not only cots, but also potties, toilet seat reducers, changing mats, plastic utensils and cutlery.

Newly renovated three-star hotel AXA in functionalist style in the centre of Prague with a tradition since 1932. You will be accommodated right in the centre, within walking distance of 600 m from the Powder Tower.
There is also a 25 m swimming pool. The disadvantage is parking, the hotel does not have its own parking lot. If you arrive by car, I recommend parking in the parking lot. All day parking at the nearest car park is 650 CZK.
HOTEL SALVATOR ► ► ► ► 2 minutes’ walk from Náměstí Republiky metro station
The great advantage of the Salvator Hotel is its location. You will find it in the centre, within walking distance not only from the Main Railway Station, but also from the Old Town Square and the Vltava River.
Breakfast is served in the La Boca restaurant, where there is also a small children’s corner. There is a children’s playground about 600 metres away, which will be appreciated by children of all ages. Parking is only available in the underground garage under the KOTVA department store, about 2 minutes’ walk from the hotel.
HOTEL AQUAPALACE PRAHA ► ► ► ► Čestlice, on the outskirts of Prague, on the D1 route
Guests staying at the Aquapalace Prague have unlimited access to the water park, which can be conveniently accessed through a corridor connecting the hotel and the water park. Here you can ride the longest water slide in the Czech Republic.
There are pools and activities for children of all ages.
Access to the centre by public transport is time consuming, you need to use a car. If you don’t want to drive to the centre of Prague, you can park your car in Uhříněvs and then continue to the centre of Prague by train (about 15 minutes).
